The store has opened its doors at Berlin's Soho House, this on two levels new urban shopping experience combines shopping, art, food and work. It is a place where people can spend the whole day and curates fashion and beauty products and magazines, furniture, plants and plates, and where everything is negotiable. The space includes hair and beauty services, a restaurant that offers organic food from local suppliers, as well as quieter workspace for today's digital professionals, changing art exhibitions and in the basement also recording and photo studios.
The Store remains the industrial and raw character of the former space and implements high end rag installations for the most beautiful clothes while actively using the interior that is being sold as main design elements which somehow have a very private and trustful vibe. The interior breathes a homey and inviting vibe. The palette is sobre and meticulously layered, and takes full advantage of the building's original architectural elements. Exposed concrete pillars are paired with flooring of light wooden planks, and various settings with a quirky variety of furnishings have breen created that invite guests to slow down and take in the store's multitude of offerings.
The most unique feature of this multifaceted space is the fact that it doesn’t feel or function like a shop.
