The Frame Store continues its initial mission as a three-dimensional experience of the magazine – a creative and innovative universe that surprises and inspires. The world of Frame shows what good design can do, and is a celebration of beauty, functionality and accessibility through timeless products. The Frame store will stage new talents, new products and new brands from various genres. Fashion, art and design sit alongside media, beauty and food. A range of homewares will also be available.
In addition to the recognition they receive through Frame Publishers’ events and media channels, emerging talents now have a physical space to exhibit their work. The store will premiere the creations of young Dutch lingerie designer Tisja Damen and present products by Lex Pott. Alongside work by up-and-comers, the Frame store offers merchandise by more established names and brands. These ‘essentials’ – from the likes of John Smedley, Mismo, Flos and Artek – form the basis of the store.
The interior of the canal-side store is just as inspiring as its innovative products. The Frame Store offers a sensory experience through spatial installations, diverse product ranges and undiscovered brands. The space will host a range of events – from exhibition launches to inspiring lectures. No Frame shop would be complete without books and magazines from Frame Publishers’ own collection. The project can be seen as a mini department store, embracing all the creative disciplines that the publishing house covers.
