Featuring Aksel's signature shirts and a new line of bespoke suits and shirts, the Aksel Project is more than a store, it is a space to showcase creativity and the intersection of Fashion and Art. Monthly artistic events will be held at the highly modular location designed with a spectacular wavy wood structure and murals painted by British artist Saroj Patel.
Shirts are displayed in movable wardrobe steamer trunks and can make room to what could be compared to an art gallery.
The Aksel Paris store is used for selling custom shirts during the day and is an art gallery in the evening. The company has flexibility and freedom at the basis of their business model. The modular nature of the store also reflects this value, and gives the store managers the ability to redesign the space however they wish to.
The clothes are the props, the space is stronger because it drives imagination and imagination leads to dreams. For a society as ever-changing as ours, this spontaneity may be the way to pursue work spaces for businesses.
